Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaningin Northern Virginia
We clean air ducts and dryer vents in Northern Virginia homes. Before you pay for anything, we take a return cover off and run a camera so you can see what is actually in there. If it is clean, we will say so, and looking costs you nothing.

How a duct system works
In a hurry, skip to prices.
The air goes around in a circle
The big intake vents pull air out of your rooms. It goes through the filter, past the fan, and back out through the main duct to every vent in the house. Then it does the same thing again. Same air, all day.
Whatever is in the house rides along with it
Dust off the carpet, dander off the dog, drywall dust from a bathroom nobody sheeted off. It goes around with the air until something catches it.
It drops out where the air slows down
The long flat sections of duct, the elbow behind each vent cover, and the fan itself. Those are the three spots we check first, and they are the ones you cannot see from the room.
When it is worth doing
You just bought the place
You have no idea whether the last owners had three cats or ever took a register cover off. Most people who just moved in want it done once, early, so they know what they are starting with.
Nobody can remember the last time
Which is most houses. Nobody opens a duct, so it never comes up until somebody looks.
You are seeing it at the registers
Grey fuzz on the register face, or dust back on the furniture a day after you wiped it down. That is the one people usually call about.
Three from houses around Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William. Each pair is the same duct, photographed on the same visit.
Yours might not look like any of these. Plenty of houses open up clean, the cover goes back on, and there is nothing to sell.
We will run the camera and you can decide from there. Book a look, or call (703) 997-9757.
Why Choose Our Certified HVAC Professionals
Different job, different clock. Ducts are every few years. The vent is a yearly thing, and it is the only job on this page with a fire behind it.
Three ways to pay for it, and one of them is nothing
On its own it is $299. Book it with a duct cleaning and it drops to $199, so bundling saves you $100 because we are already at the house. Or it costs you nothing at all on the Family Care Plan, which is $199 a year and covers your heating and AC inspections as well. Either way we remind you next year.
Your dryer stops running twice
A packed vent line means the dryer cannot push the wet air out. So the load comes out damp and you run it again. Clear the line and one cycle does it. That is the part people notice the same day.
Lint is the leading cause of dryer fires
The National Fire Protection Association counted an average of 13,820 home fires a year involving a dryer between 2014 and 2018. Failure to clean caused 32 percent of them, more than any other cause.
If your HOA requires it
Some of them do, and Fairfax County Fire and Rescue tells every homeowner to do it yearly regardless. You get a dated invoice and before and after photos of the line to send the association or your property manager. Tell us how they want it addressed and we will put it on there.
What we find back there
A split in the line
Metal pipe can open up at a seam, and the flexible kind tears. Either way the hot lint ends up inside a wall instead of outside. You would never see it from the laundry room.
A gas dryer venting inside
A gas dryer sends its exhaust out through that same pipe. If the pipe has a hole in it, or has come apart at a joint, that exhaust ends up in the room instead. If you have a gas dryer, put a carbon monoxide alarm nearby and have the line checked.
Whatever else is open in front of us
A furnace flue that has slipped at a joint. A duct blowing your heated air into the crawl space. We tell you, and we put it in writing. What you do about it is up to you.
$299 on its own, $199 bundled with a duct clean, free on the $199 plan. Book the vent, or call (703) 997-9757.

I had a great experience with Aaron and Luke for my duct and dryer vent cleaning. They were very professional, friendly, and punctual. After the inspection, they clearly explained the work needed and provided the price upfront before starting. I especially appreciated their dedication, they even came back with a larger ladder to finish the duct cleaning properly. Their attention to detail and customer service really stood out. I would definitely recommend Aaron and Luke to anyone in need of duct or dryer vent cleaning!Sara DavaGoogle, September 2025
So far so good. Team that serviced our HVAC and cleaned our ducts were professional and didn’t try to upsell us on anything. Good value for the service; we purchased the new homeowner special and were pleased with the services we got and the discounted prices.Veronica K.Yelp, August 2026

Prices
Set your house and how many systems it has. This is the calculator our techs quote from, and it does not move once we are in the driveway.
Each system is isolated and cleaned separately. Over 2,000 square feet adds $0.10 a square foot.
Returns only
Just the intake side: the big return ducts and the grilles on them. If that is where your problem is, this is the one you want. We still look at the rest while we are there.
Whole home
Every duct in the house, both directions, vent covers included. We hook a vacuum to the system so the whole thing is pulling inward, then run spinning brushes down the ducts. Everything that comes loose goes into the machine instead of back into your rooms. This is the one most people book.
Whole home plus air scrubber
The whole-house clean, plus an ActivePure unit fitted into the main duct at the furnace, so it is treating the air the whole time your system runs.
Financing is through our lender and subject to approval. The camera look is what turns any of this into an actual quote on your house, and that part is free.
How the visit goes
We look first
We take a vent cover off, feed a camera into the duct, and you watch the screen with the tech. It takes about ten minutes. There is no charge for it, including when the answer is that yours are fine.
Then you decide
You get the number off the calculator on this page, before anyone unpacks anything.
Then the work
Dryer vent is under an hour. Returns only is a couple of hours. A whole home is most of a day. You get the window when you book and the tech texts when he is on the way.
About that $59 whole-house coupon. You have probably had one in the mailbox. The number gets somebody into your attic, and the attic is where it turns into six or seven hundred. We publish ours instead, so there is nothing left to find out on the day.
Send the square footage and how many systems the house has and we will confirm the number on your house. Send it here, or call (703) 997-9757.
How often
| What | How often | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Dryer vent | Every year | Fairfax County Fire and Rescue’s wording: clean the lint out of the dryer vent pipe once a year, or sooner if clothes take longer than normal to dry, “or have a dryer lint removal service do it for you.” Some HOAs require it too. |
| Furnace filter | Every 1 to 3 months | The cheapest thing on the list and the one that changes how much dust moves around. |
| Heating and cooling tune-up | Twice a year | The fan, the coil and the drain line get cleaned as part of it. |
| Air ducts | Every 3 to 5 years | Sooner if you have pets, just finished a renovation, or just bought the house. |
Worth doing the arithmetic on this one. A dryer vent on its own is $299, or $199 bundled with a duct cleaning, which saves you $100. The Family Care Plan is $199 a year for one system and the vent is included in it, along with two HVAC inspections a year, a plumbing visit with a water heater flush, a drain camera inspection and 15 percent off repairs. If you are having the vent done every year anyway, the plan costs less than the job on its own. It also means we call you when things are due instead of you keeping track.
