What you win
Here’s what the winner gets
A new single-stage gas furnace, sized for your home and put in where the old one sits. We cover the whole job, so the winner pays us nothing.
- A new gas furnace for natural gas or propane, sized for your home: our pick of Trane, Carrier or Rheem
- The same type you have now: 80% efficient for 80%, high-efficiency for high-efficiency
- Installed by our licensed crew, right where your old one is
- Your AC coil lifted off and set back on the new furnace, refrigerant included
- The gas connection, venting, drain, filter rack and anything else code asks for
- A Honeywell smart thermostat
- The county permit and inspection, and your old furnace hauled away
- The manufacturer’s warranty, registered in your name
Worth $4,285 to $6,545 installed, depending on your home’s size: the starting price our furnace estimator shows for your size of home. If your home needs a high-efficiency model, it’s worth that model’s posted price.

Who can enter
Can your home win it?
- You’re 18 or older, and you own and live in the home.
- The home is in Northern Virginia, in the area our vans serve.
- It’s a house, townhouse or condo with its own natural gas or propane furnace and ducts.
- One entry per household.
Who can’t win it
Homes with no gas or propane furnace, heated only by a heat pump, a boiler or oil. Mobile homes. SwiftPro employees and anyone they live with. A home that would need the furnace moved, new ductwork or asbestos removed before a new furnace could go in can’t take the prize either. If our visit finds that, we draw another entry.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the furnace giveaway really free?
Yes. There’s nothing to buy to enter or to win, and buying something won’t help you win. The winner pays us nothing for the furnace or the install.
Will you call me to sell me something?
Not unless you tick the box asking us to. We email to confirm your entry, and on Monday, November 16, we call the person we draw. That’s it.
How is the winner picked?
At random. On Monday, November 16, a computer picks one entry from all the eligible ones at our Chantilly office, 4230 Lafayette Center Drive.
When would the new furnace go in?
Within ten days of telling you that you won, and we plan to have it running before Thanksgiving. If you’d rather wait, just tell us when.
I have central AC. Will it still work?
Yes. In most homes the AC coil sits on top of the furnace. We lift it off, set it back on the new furnace and put the refrigerant back, at no cost. If the coil leaks or the AC isn’t working before we start, we’ll show you at the visit. The furnace is still free, and the AC is your call.
What if my house needs more than a furnace swap?
Whatever code requires to put a new furnace where your old one sits is on us: the gas connection, venting, drain, permit and haul-away. If the furnace would have to move, or the home needs new ductwork or asbestos removed first, the home can’t take the prize, and we draw another entry.
I have a heat pump, a boiler or oil heat. Can I enter?
Sorry, no. The prize is a gas furnace, so it only fits a home with a natural gas or propane furnace today. A heat pump with a gas furnace as its backup counts.
Can I enter if I rent, or enter for my mom?
The person who owns and lives in the home enters, so renters can’t. Your mom can enter here, or call (703) 997-9757 and we’ll enter her.
Do I owe taxes on a free furnace?
Probably. A prize counts as income, so the winner fills out a W-9 and we send a 1099 for the furnace’s value in January. A tax preparer can tell you what that means for you.
Is this the same as the free furnace with a new AC?
No. That one is an offer: put in a new AC with its matching coil and a basic gas furnace goes in with it. This is a drawing for a furnace on its own, with nothing to buy. See the free furnace with a new AC
How will I know who won?
We call and email the person we draw on Monday, November 16. If we can’t reach them by noon Wednesday, November 18, we draw again. With the winner’s OK, we post their first name and town here.
Can I enter by phone?
Yes. Call (703) 997-9757 and the office will enter you on the same form. You don’t need an email.
Official rules
Win a Free Furnace: official rules
1. No purchase necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is needed to enter or win. A purchase will not improve your chances. The winner is never asked to sit through a sales presentation.
2. Sponsor
SwiftPro LLC, doing business as SwiftPro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, 4230 Lafayette Center Drive, Suite N, Chantilly, Virginia 20151, Virginia Class A contractor license 2705192276 (the Sponsor). Questions: (703) 997-9757.
3. Who can enter
Virginia residents 18 or older who own and live in a house, townhouse or condominium in the Sponsor’s Northern Virginia service area that has its own natural gas or propane forced-air furnace with ductwork. Mobile and manufactured homes, homes without a gas or propane furnace, and employees of the Sponsor and the people they live with are not eligible. See the towns in the service area
4. Entry period
Entries are accepted from Monday, October 19, 2026 through Sunday, November 15, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
5. How to enter
Complete the entry form at goswiftpro.com/winafreefurnace, or call (703) 997-9757 and the Sponsor will complete the same form with you. An email address is optional. One entry per household. Extra entries from the same household, phone number or email address are not counted.
6. The drawing and the odds
On Monday, November 16, 2026, at the Sponsor’s Chantilly office, the Sponsor will select one entry at random by computer from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
7. After the drawing
On Monday, November 16, the Sponsor will call the selected entrant, and email them if they gave an email. The entrant must answer by noon Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 18 and let a Sponsor technician look at the home’s furnace that week. The Sponsor tells the selected entrant they have won only after confirming the home is eligible under rules 3 and 8. The winner then signs a short acceptance form and an IRS Form W-9. If the entrant can’t be reached by then, is not eligible, declines, or the home can’t take the prize under rule 8, the Sponsor will draw another entry the same way.
8. The prize
One prize: one new single-stage gas furnace for natural gas or propane, a Trane, Carrier or Rheem model the Sponsor selects, sized for the home and of the same type as the existing furnace (an 80% efficient model for an 80% furnace, a 90% or higher model for a high-efficiency furnace), with a Honeywell smart thermostat, installed by the Sponsor where the existing furnace sits. Included at no cost to the winner: removal and disposal of the old furnace; connection to the existing gas line, venting, condensate drain and ductwork; lifting off and resetting an existing air conditioning coil, with its refrigerant; the filter rack; the county permit and inspection; registration of the manufacturer’s warranty; and any other work code requires to install the furnace in that spot. Approximate retail value: $4,285 to $6,545, depending on the size of the home. That is the Sponsor’s posted installed starting price for that size of home. Where the home needs a high-efficiency model, the value is the Sponsor’s posted price for that model, given to the winner in writing before they accept. Not included: moving the furnace, new ductwork, repairing or replacing air conditioning equipment, and removal of asbestos or other hazardous material. If the home needs a new furnace location, new ductwork or hazardous material removed before a new furnace can go in safely and to code, the home cannot take the prize. No cash or other substitution, and the prize can’t be transferred, except that the Sponsor may substitute a furnace of equal or greater value.
9. Delivery
The Sponsor will install the prize within ten days of telling the winner they won, at no expense to the winner, or later if the winner asks for a later date. The Sponsor plans to finish before Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26. The visit to look at the furnace is not a sales presentation.
10. Taxes
The prize counts as income to the winner. The Sponsor will report its value on IRS Form 1099-MISC, and the winner must provide a completed Form W-9 to accept it. Any taxes owed are the winner’s responsibility.
11. Publicity
Photos of the install are taken only with the winner’s permission, and the winner never has to appear in them. The Sponsor posts the winner’s first name and town on this page only with the winner’s permission.
12. Contact and privacy
The Sponsor uses entry information to run this drawing and to contact entrants about it, under its privacy policy. The Sponsor calls an entrant about SwiftPro services only if the entrant ticks the box asking for that call. Privacy policy
13. The fine print
By entering, entrants agree to these rules and to the Sponsor’s decisions. The Sponsor may disqualify entries that are incomplete, duplicated or misrepresented, and may change or end the drawing if it cannot run as planned, with any change posted on this page. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries lost to technical problems. Nothing in these rules limits the furnace’s warranty or the Sponsor’s responsibility for its own work. To ask who won, call (703) 997-9757 or email info@goswiftpro.com after Monday, November 30, 2026. The Sponsor will give the winner’s town, and their first name if they agreed to share it. Governed by the laws of Virginia. Void where prohibited.
Two minutes to enter. One furnace to win.
