HVAC Installer: David on a Full Attic System Replacement
An HVAC installer puts in whole systems: furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps, plus the conversions between them. David from SwiftPro's install division sums up his day as a three-ton AC and a 90% furnace in an attic.

What you’re seeing in this video
David stands on the grass in a royal-blue SwiftPro polo, sunglasses on and his name badge clipped to his chest, with a wrapped SwiftPro van parked behind him. In a few sentences he introduces himself and his division: full replacements and conversions.
The cuts show him at an outdoor Trane condenser set up under a blue pop-up tent, hoses and a tank on the grass, then a dim look up into the attic where the system he replaced lives.
The last shots move to the van in the rain, its Virginia Class A contractor license printed on the door.

What they say on camera
My name is David. I'm with SwiftPro. I'm on the install division. We do full replacements, conversions.
Today we did a full replacement of the attic system. It's a three ton air conditioner and a 90% furnace.
Why it matters in your house
A 90% furnace burns gas efficiently enough to vent through PVC pipe instead of a metal flue, so swapping an older attic furnace often means new venting too.
Three tons is the cooling capacity, about 36,000 BTUs an hour. The right size comes from a load calculation on the house, not from whatever the old unit said.
Installers and service techs do different work. Installers build systems from the ground up; service techs diagnose and repair. Plenty of people in the trade start on an install crew.
What does an HVAC installer do?
An HVAC installer takes out old equipment and puts in new systems: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and air handlers, plus the copper, venting, wiring and drains that connect them. Conversions, like moving a home from one fuel or system type to another, are part of it too. It's physical work in attics and basements, and the skill shows in a clean startup.
