Furnace Inspection Before Winter: Tyler and the Crew Bring It Back
A furnace or heat pump inspection before winter catches the small fixes, like a dirty flame sensor or a weak igniter, before they turn into a no-heat night. Our heating check is back, and the current offer is on this page.

What you’re seeing in this video
Tyler Griffin, SwiftPro's owner, stands front and center in a grey SwiftPro hoodie with crew members lined up behind him in front of a wrapped SwiftPro van. He announces the heating check is back, and the whole crew shouts the number with him.
These are the techs who show up for heating checks: polos, hoodies and the van you'll see in your driveway. The message is simple. Get the furnace or heat pump looked at now, so it doesn't fail on the coldest night of the year.

Why it matters in your house
- On a furnace, a tech checks the igniter, flame sensor, burners, heat exchanger, venting and safety switches. Those parts tend to fail in the first cold week, when everyone calls at once.
- Heat pumps need it too. A tech checks the defrost cycle, refrigerant pressures and the backup heat strips that carry the house when temperatures drop well below freezing.
- Swap your filter before the visit if it's overdue, and jot down any odd smells, noises or short cycles from last winter. Those details point a tech to the right spot faster.
When should I get my furnace inspected before winter?
Early fall is the sweet spot, September through early November around here. The furnace hasn't been asked to work hard yet, so problems are easier to schedule around and parts are easier to get. Wait until the first freeze and you're booking alongside everyone whose heat just quit.
