What you’ll see in these furnace videos
The heating clips are the ones to watch when something looks off, like flame color, a flame sensor or a filter that's packed solid. The install clips show what a clean job looks like: the plenum, the venting, the brazing and the line set, so you know what to look for when somebody's working in your house.

Quick answers about furnace videos
What color should a furnace flame be?
Blue, and steady. A yellow or flickering flame means it’s not burning right, so turn the furnace off and get it looked at. There’s a video here showing the difference.
How do I know if my furnace filter is too dirty?
Pull it and hold it up to a light. If you can’t see light through it, change it today. A choked filter is one of the most common reasons a furnace shuts itself off.
