What you’re seeing in this video

Tyler Griffin stands on a park lawn by the water at golden hour, in a black SwiftPro polo and light jeans, and counts off what makes SwiftPro different.

First, purpose driven: doing good for others, taking care of the team and giving back to the community, not just making money or a big name. Second, people powered: investing in the crew with growth and development, and raising leaders from inside the company. Third, customer obsessed: without customers you can't keep the lights on, so the goal is to keep theirs on, with plumbing and HVAC done well and a little better every day.

What they say on camera

So, three things that make us unique at SwiftPro is number one, we're purpose driven. We're not just about making money, not just about making a big name. We want to do good for others while taking care of our team and giving back to our community. We have a purpose that's greater than ourselves, something that brings our team together.

Secondly, we are peoplepowered. We can't do anything without our people. We invest in our people. We want to give them opportunities for growth and development.

We want to raise up leaders from within our organization. That is very, very critical to our growth and health long term. And lastly, we are customer obsessed because we know we're nothing without our customers. Without our customers, we can't keep the lights on.

So, we want to keep their lights on figuratively. We want to take care of their needs, services, whether plumbing or HVAC, so that we can then take care of our team. So, we're obsessed with doing a better job, getting incrementally better every day at serving our customers with quality products, quality service in the times that they need

Why it matters in your house

  • A company that grows its leaders from inside keeps experienced techs. The person on your service call is more likely to know the work and still be there next year.
  • Values matter when something goes wrong. Ask a contractor what happens if a repair fails in a month, and the answer tells you what they actually believe.
  • Training is a value you can check. Ask how a company trains its techs, and whether the person installing your system has done that install before.

How can I tell if an HVAC company actually lives its values?

Read the reviews from the last six months, not the slogan on the website. Notice whether the same tech names come up for years, which means people stay. Ask how they handle a callback. A company that means it will explain its process without getting defensive.
